前回のルーフエアコン複数台輸入した際に、壁用のサーモスイッチを米サイトで検索してみたところ、コールマンルーフエアコンに取り付け可能な複数のスイッチが見つかった。
中でも興味深かったのが、ワイヤレスリモコンセットである。
これは、従来の壁スイッチを取替え、リモコンによって温度設定やACモードの切替、ヒーター設定など手動で行う全ての操作がリモコン化できる。
さらに驚くべきことに、タイマー機能、自動モードなどの機能が付加されており、電源のあるサイトを利用する場合などは、タイマーによる動作が可能となる。
このルーフエアコンのワイヤレスキットについて調べたが詳しい情報がなく、RVフォーラムで見つけた記事だが、このセットは既に製造が終了しているらしい。
複数の知り合いから依頼され、米オークションに出品されているものを複数輸入したが好評でさらに輸入することとなった。
同じ業者に価格交渉をしたところ、価格の交渉にも応じてくれ業者在庫全て購入することとなった。
