ウォーターポンプの消音

　先日からアメリカの懇意にしているショップに冷蔵庫、エアコン、ファンタスティックベント、電動ステップなど大物など多数の見積もりを依頼している。このショップは見積もり段階でキャンピングワールドの価格を提示して交渉すると、全てキャンピングワールドより安くしてくれる。
　さらに今週はドル円が95円台に再突入した。さらに安く買えそうである。
　また、大物のほかに小さなパーツも多数見積もりを取っている。　知り合いから依頼のウォーターポンプ。米ショップに音がうるさいのでフロージェットの静音タイプのポンプに交換したい・・・と明記し在庫も確認したところ、何とも親切に消音の方法のメールが来た。以下は、本場アメリカ人が行っているポンプの音を消音する方法である。

suggests for your friend to try to quiet the one he has first. Sometimes the noise maybe from how it was installed.
1. Try putting pieces of carpet or foam material under the pump. Remove the pump and put the material under it and reinstall the pump and do not tighten the screws...keep them alittle loose.
2. If he has a hard water lines entering and exiting the pump, change them to a soft, flexible hose for about 6 -12 inches.
3. Then where the soft, flexible lines meets the hard, rigid line.......clamp the hard line to the floor so it can not vibrate.
